- ATDT sends a *tone*, not pulse....you want ATDP instead. AT means
- 'attention', D is for going online, and P is for pulse dialing. These are
- standard Hayes AT commands, which most modems accept. If you'll read your
- docs, the V1 command, in the initialization string, should give you the
- visual results you're looking for. A good setup, or initialization
- string for you would look something like this:

- ATX4V1 followed by the command to dial for example a phone
- number in the US, 654-2300;

- ATDP,654-2300

- Or, if you have call waiting, ATDP,1170,654-2300
